A quote from sports yet very applicable to business. PlastiCert has been adding new customers consistently. While a good number of these are the new-fashioned way of finding us through an internet search, we love engaging with new customers because of past relationships.
Right now, we are adding new business, but it is indirectly due to a different customer. One of our newest customer success stories, a sporting goods company, has us molding a part and selling it to another supplier of theirs to add value to it. That supplier has their own line of products that are also injection molded. Upon receiving our parts, they recognized a higher level of sophistication and quality in our parts than what they have been getting. They recently ordered a mold and will start production with us for a better version of what they have been getting.
We are also talking to a potential new customer, where one of the supply chain professionals came over from one of our existing customers. He recalled our performance and reputation from his previous employer and suggested to his new colleagues that they should talk to PlastiCert about their newest design.
New customers because of having performed well for existing customers. It is truly success breeding success, but maybe Albert Einstein said it better, “Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value.”
