Lewiston, MN May 21,2021 – PlastiCert, a veteran of innovative and quality composite injection molding design and manufacturing services for 40 years, announces that they have recently made staffing decisions to accommodate current and future growth.
PlastiCert has promoted Zachary Block to Engineering Manager. Zach joined PlastiCert in 2014 immediately after he graduated from Winona State University. A product of the Composites Engineering Program at WSU, he was regarded as one of the top graduates that year. Since that time, Zach has progressed his engineering skills in not just injection molding but the area of mold design and maintenance. Zach’s new responsibilities will entail managing the technical aspects of both the Mold Design & Build effort at PlastiCert as well as the injection molding production floor. “From the day he started Zach has been contributing to our improvement process”, remarked Craig Porter, President & Owner of PlastiCert. “Zach is one of those rare engineers that is multidisciplined. He has a solid material science background from the WSU program, but is both mechanically and electrically knowledgeable with a good head on his shoulders. We all wear multiple hats here at PlastiCert and Zach fit right in. He works hard and strives to help make a difference.”
As a result of said promotion, PlastiCert will be looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer to help further improve and progress the injection molding operations. Additionally, due to unprecedented revenue and processing growth experienced in the production area, PlastiCert will be looking to hire a Production Floor Leader/Manager and additional molding set-up technicians. A search has been initiated and qualified applicants are encouraged to contact us.
