Gotta love it when a plan comes together!

We have been blogging about our capital improvement plan (CIP) and the equipment we have been acquiring. Covering both the mold shop equipment and the injection molding equipment, we’ve spent the last 2+ years replacing equipment.

2018 saw us replace our 90-ton press. 2019 we acquired a new custom motor stator winder for a dedicated program we assemble, a new machining center and a new Sinker EDM. Here in 2020, we took delivery on a new 500-ton press, and a new vertical press. Just this week we placed orders for two more presses, a 200 ton and a 315 ton.

Making sure we can provide for our customers well into the future, following our CIP we have invested nearly $1 million dollars in new equipment. Our average press age has dropped from 24 years old to just 4.

As the 200 & 310 presses arrive, we will post pictures of their unloading and installation.
