PlastiCert hires Production Manager
Lewiston, MN August 10,2021 – PlastiCert, a veteran of innovative and quality composite injection molding celebrating 40 years of molding success, announces the addition of a new management staff member.
PlastiCert has added a Production Manager to its Managerial staff. Wesley Meyer joined PlastiCert bringing a wealth of knowledge in manufacturing systems, technology implementation, Lean practices, and process development expertise. Wes received an Associates Degree in Fluid Power from Alexandria Technical College, a Bachelor of Science in Composite Materials Engineering from Winona State University, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Viterbo University. He also achieved a Lean Manufacturing Certificate from Western Technical College.

He is a valuable and meaningful addition to our already impressive team”, commented Craig Porter, PlastiCert’s President and Owner. “He will fit right in with our entrepreneurial spirit here of providing our customers leading edge molding technology in an efficient and cost-effective environment.”
Meyer’s responsibility will be management of the Production Operations reporting to Vice President of Operations Ben Ninas. “PlastiCert is experiencing unprecedented growth this fiscal year”, commented Ninas. “Wes’s talents will work to grow our already proficient technical capability, as well as maintain the responsiveness and delivery metrics our customers have come to value so highly. We’ve added four customers this year so far and are in quote discussions with a number more”.
PlastiCert continues to take advantage of their proximity to Winona State University and the graduates of their Composite Materials Engineering program. Meyer is the third CME graduate currently applying their skills at PlastiCert, complementing Ninas’ work and Engineering Manager Zach Block.

We are making inroads into high tech sporting goods and new industrial applications”.
