PlastiCert thanks Robert Geesey for 23 years of dedication
Lewiston, MN June 28, 2016 – PlastiCert, celebrating its 35th year of innovative and quality plastic injection molding design and molding manufacturing services, thanks retiring Robert Geesey.
PlastiCert presented Robert Geesey Director of Finance and HR with another clock for his collection, this one engraved with a message of thanks and gratitude for his 23 years of dedication.
Bob, whose background included education and financial planning, joined PlastiCert (Pennsylvania) in 1993 as the Finance and Human Resources Manager and he has served in that role since. Bob was instrumental in bringing PlastiCert’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software on-line, helping to dovetail PlastiCert’s financials into the manufacturing data being entered and collected. Bob has been a trusted advisor to three iterations of PlastiCert ownership. Since the recent purchase of PlastiCert by its latest owner and consolidated operations in Minnesota, Bob has performed his responsibilities remotely as a virtual management member from his office in Florida. Bob’s responsibilities in Finance & HR include guiding PlastiCert’s Safety Committee, Co-worker training system and working with outside accounting. Bob has been a long time member of the Society for Human Resource Management and American Payroll Association.
“Bob was a trusted and dependable member of our team,” commented Craig Porter, President, and Owner of PlastiCert. “When I acquired the company nearly five years ago, keeping Bob on, even though he was residing near the prior HQ in Florida, was always in my business plan. With his steady demeanor overseeing finance and our workforce, I could focus on getting the company shored up operationally and prepared to move forward.” Bob and his wife Wilma have three children, three grandchildren, and one great grandchild. They will enjoy more travelling now to see family, as well as walking Florida beaches. Bob’s hobby is repairing clocks.
