The “unbusiness” like sentiment – HOPE.

The four Sundays preceding Christmas, which is when Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, are recognized for four virtues. The candles on the Advent wreath symbolize hope, love, joy and peace. The candles are lit in that order, so this week is HOPE.

As business executives, we do not see HOPE talked about much, if at all, in business-oriented writings. No business plan or executive directive I have seen, incorporated HOPE into their plans for shaping the future.

Yet at its core sentiment, HOPE does enter in, under the concept of approaching the plans and directives with a positive attitude. That executing those plans WILL result in a positive outcome.

Now, in the time of this pandemic, manufacturers and businesspeople everywhere have been thrust into planning for and working toward an unknown future. Where we make revised plans and execute our mission without know what each day may bring.

If HOPE were ever to be incorporated into a business plan, I guess it would be now.

PlastiCert continues to execute our plans. We continue onward acquiring new equipment, expanding on our capabilities, look to acquire new customers, HOPEFUL that we can exit out the backside of this pandemic with nothing more than inconvenience and reduced revenues.

Here’s HOPING that you and your associates, family and friends can remain safe. There will be an end to this pandemic. The “normal” that existed pre-pandemic will never be again. We are HOPEFUL a new normal will emerge. One that is more predictable, one that is less invasive, one that reinforces our positive outlook toward the future.
