We’re not done yet
September may see the start of school and the winding down of summer, but PlastiCert is still active outdoors, playing in charity golf events and supporting local sports.
Two groups recently participated in a charity golf event run by the Osman Shrine Auxiliary raising money for their wheelchair fund. PlastiCert sponsored both groups and donated door prizes helping to raise nearly $5,000 for their fund.
This week we play in a scholarship golf tournament raising funds for students enrolled in the Winona State University Composites Engineering Program. In addition to the funds spent playing, PlastiCert participates on the scholarship golf and awarding committee as well as donating numerous door prizes and cash support.
Lastly, PlastiCert will be involved in local high school sports. We’ve awarded funds to the local Lions Club that sponsors a fundraising dinner during the High School’s Homecoming Week festivities. PlastiCert sponsors a dozen athletes to eat for free during the dinner so that those funds can go to the many programs the Lions run benefiting our local area. We also had the highest bid for the “Cardinal’s Nest “ suite overlooking the football field for the homecoming game during a cancer benefit fundraiser earlier in the year. Run by the high school’s Booster Club, PlastiCert donated funds to build their new concession stand and provides support for their other programs.
We like to be involved in our community, living up to that part of our mission statement that recognizes we have, “ a recognized responsibility to the community around us”. We would love to show that kind fo commitment to your needs. Looking for a committed supplier? Give PlastiCert a call.
