Yes, we are here

PlastiCert is considered an essential manufacturer by the State of MN and a number of our customers. As such, we are still in production. We have taken a number of steps to provide a safe working environment and try and keep our presses heated up.

Those steps include:

Daily cleaning rituals for common office areas, break areas and production work surfaces.

Restricted access to the building for all non-coworkers.

Office workers transitioned to working from home.

Redefined our production shifts to reduce headcount within the building

Eliminated our 2^nd shift

Divided our production and mold shop coworkers into two teams

• Each team works a 12 hour shift, 3 days a week (being paid for 40 hours).
• The 7^th day is for Ownership access and necessary indirect work.
• This division will reduce the number of people in the building allowing for more space between coworkers at work and on break. Even our clock in and out function can be accessed by smartphone to prevent congregating around a central hub.

Before much of this began we saw the writing on the wall and worked feverishly to get ahead of our forecast and schedule. While we rarely carry finished goods at PlastiCert, we are currently over two weeks ahead on our production schedule where possible.
