Wide ranging experience, good all the way around
Many past posts have talked about PlastiCert not being a “typical“ injection molding provider due to our small to medium volume business model. Generally, that model is perfect for smaller to midsize OEMs that have great products but only need thousands of parts a year. A larger molder might produce those parts, but with some caveats, like higher piece part price or making annual volumes in one run. Solutions for them, but non-solutions for the customer resulting in higher cost, less flexibility and increased exposure to inefficiency and costly changes.
Another great side benefit of excelling at small and medium volume is that the lower volume is universal across the entire product spectrum. As such, PlastiCert has a very extensive cross section of customer markets that we serve.
Start-up and early stage companies start with lower volumes as they sell their concepts and grow their market share. It is universal across all marketplaces.
Also, specialty product lines that serve finite markets only need small and medium volume orders, and those companies also exist across the entire marketplace spectrum as well.
Lastly, there are some large multi-national OEMs whose primary focus is metals based components, and PlastiCert is the go to plastics and composites expert.
The end result is that PlastiCert, serving low and medium volume needs of such a diverse array of customers, has experience in a wide array of product areas.
PlastiCert serves customers that sell in the following markets, (in no particular order of concentration)
Industrial controls

We continue to add to the list as word of our ability to provide both molds and injection molding to OEMs that require difficult parts in complex designs using high end engineered composites.
Have small to medium volume plastic or composite components where the molder is dictating your terms and you think there is no alternative?
Need small to medium volume parts in an intricate design or composite where you think you have to put up with a “large” molder’s terms?
Need support and assistance and currently cannot get a timely call back from your “large” molder?
Need a fairer price for your molds and components without having to compromise your program’s needs?
Give PlastiCert a call. We specialize in small and medium volume, complex parts, making your molds right here in our shop, and providing service more than anything else.
After all, our job is to make you look good at your job. Isn’t that how you are evaluated at the end of the day? What you have done for your management and company?
