Celebrating our MBO Anniversary
This past Monday, PlastiCert had lunch catered in to celebrate 14 years of controlling and improving our future.
In 2010, PlastiCert’s General Manager took steps to try and correct the direction the company was going. PlastiCert’s story was highlighted in a previous blog post.
Bottom line, PlastiCert was in serious trouble. In September 2011, negotiations concluded and the sale was finally closed. Our Management Buy Out (MBO) resuscitated the company and got it on a path of reinvestment, rededication, and renewal that immediately began to reap benefits. Since then, the injection molding presses have been replaced, the mold shop has replaced its equipment, and an addition was made to the building to the tune of almost $2.5 million dollars.

At the same time, existing customer relationships were solidified and a revamped marketing plan resulted in over a dozen new customers being added.
So, PlastiCert has much to celebrate these days. Opportunities for coworker growth has never been higher. PlastiCert is dedicated to growth, both in its people and its capabilities.
Seeing that kind of positivity at your injection molder? Do you need smaller or medium volume components and assemblies but cannot get flexibility or even the time of day from your molder?
Give PlastiCert a call. We excel at being the go-to-source for helping our customers (and their internal people) look GOOD.
