Inquiring minds want to know
It is 2026, PlastiCert is looking to build on its successes of last year and continue on in its supplier role of doing our job so you look good in your job.
Looking back at our Blog posts of 2025, it is interesting that three of the top five Blog posts were about PlastiCert’s human side. The other two were about current business topics around the resourcing phenomenon and supplier selection options.
Conventional wisdom, at least what the experts and even AI say, is that your company blog should focus on sharing industry insights, solving customer problems, offering tutorials, and highlighting company expertise.
Our top two best received blog posts did nothing of the kind. They were both talking about PlastiCert as an organization and how well we regard our coworkers. As it turned out, blog posts about expertise and technical articles were some of the least popular that were published.
Happy To Tell Our Story published on August 21st talked about our invitation to speak at a local Chamber’s “Journey of an Entrepreneur “ series where I spoke about PlastiCert’s history. It had the most reader interaction of all the blog posts last year.
Second most was just the week before. Summer means, sun, grilling out, and summer intern/college workers talked about celebrating our coworkers’ diligent efforts all summer and the quality of our interns and PT college students spending the summer with us.
The two industry insight posts were about the supply chain. First the absurdity of the reshoring effort, “I am shocked, shocked to find ………” was published on April 10th. It wasn’t saying that reshoring is absurd, only that industry all of a sudden decrying how much we had outsourced over the years was absurd. There were many companies doing “what everyone else is doing,” regardless of the ramifications. The second, are you paying too much and losing your freedom? published on July 31st, tried to point out to small to medium volume OEMs that they do not need to use an injection molding supplier too large for them to get competence and technology.
From the response, it appears readers like to know more about who and what PlastiCert is, rather than what we can do. They also want to read about industry trends and commentary on current activities,
We can continue to do that. In the future if a blog post interests you, feel free to share. With PlastiCert, with your colleges, with your contacts.
If there are topics you would like to see explored more from PlastiCert’s or even our industry’s perspective, feel free to contact us.
Lastly, A small and medium volume molder like PlastiCert will work with you to design a mold that meets YOUR needs for flexibility AND cost. PlastiCert will also provide you part design input that lends itself to a small and medium volume plan and mold combination.
If you need a supplier that will not only stay off your problem radar screen but actually make you look good in your job, give us a call!
