Lewiston, MN February 12, 2025 – PlastiCert, a veteran of innovative and quality composite injection molding celebrating almost 45 years of molding success, announces a new Wellness Policy aimed at helping coworkers improve their fitness and lives. .

In honor of February being American Heart Month PlastiCert has released a new wellness grant policy. A Coworker will receive $200.00 in wellness grant money for a qualifying health or wellness purchase. A qualifying purchase is something that is used for an employee’s health and wellness (gym membership, exercise equipment, fitness tracker, sports equipment, rollerblades, walking shoes, state park passes, etc.)

Why is it important to be a healthy employee?

Being a healthy employee is essential because it directly impacts productivity, job satisfaction, and overall well-being. Healthy employees are less likely to take sick days, stay energized and focused throughout the workday, and contribute to a positive work environment. Prioritizing physical and mental health can also reduce stress and improve long-term career success by enhancing adaptability and a strong work-life balance. Additionally, healthy employees are better equipped to handle challenges, make informed decisions, and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

“This is a great idea and I was totally behind it when it was brought before me as a new benefit”, commented Craig Porter, President and Owner of PlastiCert. “I am a big believer in being active, whether it is sports, being in nature, or  doing family activities!”

Effective immediately, the policy will look to reimburse coworkers even retroactively 12 months.
