A Win/Win AND WIN
PlastiCert this week added a new customer to our growing list of partners. Business always talks about win/win scenarios, but this one is, similar to others we have engaged with, is a triple win.
Naturally, PlastiCert scores a WIN adding a new partner in our growing consumer products customer segment. Our new partner customer scores a WIN selecting a four time Plastics Technology Top Shop winner, a provider of quality low and medium volume plastics and composites, and a customer focused technology partner, ready to help them handle any plastic/composite design and build efforts.
The third WIN is that this is not a new program. PlastiCert is receiving two molds from an injection molder that was unable to satisfy this customer’s needs. It is always gratifying when we can assure a new customer that our engineering expertise and our highly capable mold build and maintenance shop can eliminate a constant headache and allow the customer to focus on other matters.
Transitioning in other molds is not a new activity for PlastiCert. We have received existing molds from injection molding shops down the road and around the world.
We do not always transition molds due to quality issues. We have worked with other molders that have customers that no longer fit their business model, meaning that the customer has low and medium volumes which just do not fit with their molder’s operational norms. We manage a planned transition that helps the customer bridge the change and carry on problem free.
Most times, we get a call from an OEM because they need an answer to a problem situation, and PlastiCert can answer that call.
Have a problem injection molder and think you are stuck? Give us a call. We revive problem programs all the time.
