PlastiCert adds color to Lewiston’s Annual Heartland Days celebration.
Lewiston, MN June 30, 2014 – PlastiCert, a 33 year veteran of innovative and quality plastic injection molding design and manufacturing services, was active in helping make Lewiston Heartland Days an enjoyable event.
PlastiCert has its headquarters in the town of Lewiston Minnesota. Each year in the end of June, they celebrate Heartland Days, as Lewiston is in the very center or heart of the county. Historically, PlastiCert has participated in a number of different ways, from volunteering at various activities to providing monetary support to bring additional entries in for the Saturday evening parade down Main Street. This year was no different with involvement on several fronts.
“We regard volunteerism as a civic duty and Heartland Days is no exception. Being one of the main employers in town, we take our commitment seriously. ” cited Craig Porter, President and Owner of PlastiCert. “This year aside from our people volunteering at various events, we sponsored a Shriner Motorcycle Corp out of Rochester again https://osmanshriners.org/rochester-area-shrine-club/ as well as a Barbershop Chorus group out of Winona singing from a motorized float. The parade is by far the largest attended event during Heartland Days and is very much a part of the iconic small town Main Street parade many people remember and still yearn for.
