PlastiCert announces highest revenue month on record
PlastiCert, a 38 year provider of innovative and service oriented composite injection mold design and injection molding services announces that January of 2019 was the highest revenue month recorded.
With the conclusion of the January production month, PlastiCert recorded the highest level of shipped revenue in recent history. “It certainly was the highest ever recorded here at the facility in Minnesota, commented PlastiCert President and Owner Craig Porter. “PlastiCert was founded in Pennsylvania and had a facility there until 2009. Our ERP system was brought on line way back in 1997 and I cannot find a company revenue month higher than what we just experienced. So if not ever, it’s the highest in at least 22 years”.
The revenue levels of practically all customer sectors were involved. Sixteen of the forecasted twenty customers took deliveries in excess of forecast, covering all business sectors. “Industrial, Computer, Telecom, HVAC, even Agricultural were all up”, Porter added. The only sector underperforming was consumer-sporting goods, and they were gangbusters all of 2018 so it was not a big surprise to see them catch their breath for a month.”
As a recognition of their efforts toward the accomplishment, PlastiCert catered in lunch for the team to celebrate. “While January was a 22 work day month, we were hit with two cold snaps, the second one a week long and setting temp and wind chill records that left people with car troubles, day care issues, etc. Needless to say, they accomplished that mark under less than stellar conditions,” remarked Porter. “January on time delivery slipped from the previous month’s 100% to 96%. We’ll take a look at where that happened, but odds are it was weather related.”
