PlastiCert attends MD&M Central
Lewiston, MN October 31, 2013 – PlastiCert, a 32 year veteran of innovative and quality plastic injection molding design and manufacturing services, sent President & Owner Craig Porter and Director of Customer Advancement Ben Ninas to attend the Medical Design and Manufacturing Show in Minneapolis.
On Tuesday October 29, President & Owner Craig Porter and Director of Customer Advancement Ben Ninas were at the Minneapolis Convention Center to attend the Medical Design and Manufacturing (MD&M) Show. The show brings together medical device suppliers and OEMs from all over the country to discuss what is new and connect with customers, suppliers and former co-workers. “My roots are in medical device manufacturing first on the OEM side and then the supplier side,” commented Porter. “From implantable devices like heart valves, vein grafts and pacemakers, to external controllers, ambulatory drug pumps and catheter tracking, it was the most stimulating work I ever did. Spending my formative years in an FDA regulated environment set me up for successes wherever I went.” The two met with equipment suppliers discussing future additions, investigated new technologies for production operations, and networked with fellow attendees. “It’s time well invested,” remarked Ninas. “In an age of electronic communication being so prevalent, it’s nice to spend some face time.”
