PlastiCert continues to invest in itself!
Last week PlastiCert took delivery of a new Milacron 125 Ton injection molding press as we prepare to celebrate the 12th anniversary of our Management Buy Out (MBO).
This latest addition is our 5th new press in the last 5 years. Replacing an outdated 165 ton press, PlastiCert has reinforced its mid-range capability, adding capacity to a tonnage range that has been quite active for new product releases by our customer base.
We currently have horizontal presses ranging from 55 Ton to 500 Ton, and one 56 Ton vertical press with a rotary table.
This new press represents the near total replacement of all injection molding presses in the last 5 years. Our average press age has reduced from around 25 years to just 6 years old. There is one press left that pre-dates the MBO event, which is scheduled to be replaced in the upcoming fiscal year.
All these new presses coupled with the reinvestment in the Mold Development and Build Shop, ( two new machining centers and a new EDM machine), reinforce PlastiCert’s commitment to upgrading itself once it achieved zero debt (achieved in 2017). We have now invested nearly $3,000,000 in improving and upgrading equipment, facilities and our staff.
Is your injection molder keeping up with the times? Both reinvesting AND looking out for both their AND YOUR interests?
If not, give us a call! We have the know-how, equipment and most of all capacity to provide you the molds AND molding you require now and well into the future.
