Lewiston, MN August 5, 2013 – PlastiCert, a 32 year veteran of innovative and quality plastic injection molding design and manufacturing services, recently helped raise funds for the Winona Big Brothers Big Sisters Program.
On Saturday evening August 3rd, community members came together for the 10th Annual Taste of Winona Charity Auction benefitting Big Brothers Big Sisters of the 7 Rivers Region. The annual charity auction features numerous dining establishments from throughout the region serving up samples of their best appetizers, entrées, and desserts, vying for the best of event. Attendees sample their wares and then vote with tokens on their personal favorites. Complementing the food tasting there are wire distributors from throughout the region offering samples of the wines they offer. During all this tasting there was a Silent Auction going on, followed by a live auction that included fine art, jewelry, travel packages, dining packages and household items.
PlastiCert was approached to help augment the Live Auction offerings and helped put together a scuba diving vacation to Aruba to be auctioned off. PlastiCert President and Owner Craig Porter was in attendance at the event and commented, “We were happy to help Big Brothers and Sisters both in contribution and participation. I know a number of youth that have benefited greatly from their participation in BBBS and we are happy to help further the Winona BBBS cause.”
