PlastiCert participates in Winona Radio Food Drive.
Lewiston, MN December 1, 2013 – PlastiCert, a 32 year veteran of innovative and quality plastic injection molding design and manufacturing services, received a thank you from Winona Volunteer Services.
PlastiCert recently received a letter from the Executive Director of Winona Volunteer Services, recognizing PlastiCert’s participation in advertising their Fall Food Drive and thanking us for our support.
PlastiCert sponsored a period of frequent radio ads calling attention for the need to donate food for the upcoming holiday season. Additionally, Winona Radio then donated a portion of their proceeds to Winona Volunteer Services, to augment the increased donations from the public.
In the last 10 years, the number of households served by the food shelf has increased 240%. In the last year, they have assisted over 900 households on a monthly average and distributed nearly 429,000 pounds of food.
PlastiCert is proud to have helped support the mission of Winona volunteer Services. The team members at PlastiCert continue to embrace that part of our mission statement that calls for “a recognized responsibility to the community around us”.
