Categories included Behavioral and Social Sciences, Biochemistry, Botany & Agriculture, Engineering, Computer Science & Mathematics, Environmental, Chemistry, Biology, Medicine, Physics, and Biochemistry.

“I was assigned to interview students working on Engineering and Physics projects,” remarked Porter. “There were some very bright young people that carried themselves very well for teens. I was very impressed with their knowledge and communication skills.” Projects Porter graded and assessed included; Acetone Corrosion of Vehicle Fuel Systems, Maximization of Lift in Airfoil Design, Acoustic Localization of Intruders in Large Indoor Spaces along with numerous other projects including solar and composites themes.
