PlastiCert recognizes passing safety milestone

Lewiston, MN December 7, 2015 – PlastiCert, a 34 year veteran of innovative and quality plastic injection molding design and manufacturing services, recognized their achieving a safety milestone.
On Monday, PlastiCert management provided a pizza luncheon in recognition of everyone’s effort in reaching 1,000 days of not recording a lost time incident. “Almost three years ago, after a back strain kept one of our people out for a few days, our Safety committee kicked their efforts into a higher gear,” commented Craig Porter, President and Owner of PlastiCert. ”They analyzed what we were doing for prevention and training and re-focused their efforts.” The PlastiCert Safety Committee meets monthly. Representatives of all three shifts review activities and field suggestions, along with making critical observational walk arounds verifying tags and safety equipment is in place and functional.

PlastiCert was founded in 1981 and is a privately held corporation with headquarters and manufacturing in Lewiston Minnesota.
