Starting the Season Off Right
PlastiCert coworkers are not unlike the general public, hitting the stores for holiday shopping right after Thanksgiving. Although our people were not out hunting deals to give to family members or friends.
For the eighth year in a row, PlastiCert participated in the Lewiston-Altura Sharing Tree program. PlastiCert received the names of numerous children and teens whose families do not have the means to provide Christmas gifts for them.
Four of our coworkers went out in two person teams. Kiera and Reilly teamed up as well as Mindy and Tracy. They went out into the malls during their normal workday spending our money rather than their usual responsibilities of helping us make money.
Armed with wish lists from the Sharing Tree sign-up sheets, they applied the same dedication and detail to their shopping chores as they do to their normal duties and came back with all their recipients wishes accounted for. Reports are they had a fun time doing it as well!
PlastiCert thanks them for stepping up and living our corporate mission statement recognizing a responsibility to the community around us. While PlastiCert is doing well and looking to wrap up a successful year, we remember that we are not an island, but a part of a community. Sharing the results of our hard work and good fortune is a foundation to being a good neighbor.
Share our values and level of commitment? We would love to hear of your examples and activities. Drop us a line.
At PlastiCert, we take our motto, Molding Your Future, beyond just injection molding services. We want a better future for all our community children and teens.
