Throwback Thursday at PlastiCert

Throwback Thursday – It was one year ago this week that PlastiCert was declared a World Class Processor by Plastics Technology Magazine.

In their inaugural year of the program, applying processors were evaluated on 11 different metrics covering operations, business performance, and human resources. Those measures included everything from scrap and on-time delivery rates to employee turnover and sales growth.

Since that time we’ve used those same 11 metrics to continue to challenge ourselves to get better. We’ve implemented a paperless work instruction system utilizing tablets at each of eth work centers/cells where coworkers access their process instructions. We’ve upgraded our press capabilities tuning over newer presses and disposing of aging ones.

At PlastiCert we try to take steps that provide value for our customers, because in the end, we’re here to act as an extension of your production floor. What’s good for us has to be good for you too.

If you are looking for a processor that is there to provide you information and guidance regarding molds and molding, give us a call. We are not about providing you cheap plastic parts, we’re here to provide cutting edge expertise to make your products the best they can be, i.e. the same goal you have!

In the January edition of Plastics Technology Magazine, the editors revealed their inaugural group of World-Class Processors. Plastics Technology sent their exclusive benchmarking survey to subscribers in the middle of 2015. Of the companies that responded to this inaugural survey (virtually all of them custom)—Plastics Technology designated 25 World-Class Processors based.
