Adopt the new philosophy
Now that you have created a framed picture of the desire to continuously improve your organization through a long term quality emphasis, you need to craft that vision into your core being. You need to facilitate the company embracing quality throughout the ENTIRE organization, direct and indirect areas. You need to make sure that everyone puts the customers’ needs first, rather than adding offerings due to competitive pressure. Learn the customer and design/tailor products or services that met their needs. You have to prepare your staff and your company for this major change in philosophy, it is about leading, not just managing. Once you have envisioned what quality is for your organization, implement it as you have envisioned, unwaveringly.
